Nickolas Wolf, Jr. Bassmaster and Naked Bait Co. Jr. Pro, from Orange County NY
Nick is graduating high school this school year with 11 years of perfect attendance
and a few goals on his mind, To work hard, become a professional Bass fisherman and set
an exceptional example for his peers.
He continues to take first place in his local club and has qualified for the
NY state 6 man tournament for the last 5 years with his local club which is
dispersing this year due to illness just as Nickolas is entering the adult circuit.
He picked up his first tournament rod at age 13 and realized this was his dream,
since then he has learned and listened to everybody and anybody who would teach him to fish,
he has perfected his skill and has become "the one to beat" in his area and loves the challenge
of competition.
He attended the Rockland County Fishing Expo in March 2009 and decided to try the casting contest
for the first time. He qualified and won 3rd place competing against all grown men, It was very
encouraging to see these grown men approach him with complements reassuring him of his dream.
March, 2010, he returned to Rockland County, qualified again only to come back on the final day and take
first place.
He will be participating in the Stren 4 Tournament FLW American Fishing Series, Northern States division
for the 2010 season.
Nickolas will be turning 18 in July and hopes to leave a mark in the Bass fishing community
and bring attention to teens and fishing, showing them it's not just fun but a competitive humane
sport that's not just for the older generation.
